One of the most important aspects to keeping an engine running efficiently and reliably is proper cooling. High engine temperatures are the enemy of horsepower. At high temperatures engine knock is a problem and the factory computer reduces spark advance to stop knock. That KILLS power! To combat over-heating and high operating temperatures in the 1998-1999 Camaro and Firebird, SLP now offers a high-capacity radiator that features almost 50% additional core surface area. This makes a dramatic increase in cooling ability. These new radiators will make a cooling difference on stock or modified F-cars. Owners of highly modified cars should consider this radiator a "must" along with our 160º thermostat. Add an SLP manual fan control switch and you'll have complete control over your engine temperature! SLP's radiators are a bolt-in design that have an OEM appearance and accept all factory sensors and fittings.
