Differential, 1998-2002 Camaro SS/Firehawk Auburn Save money! We've reduced the price on the legendary Auburn Limited Slip differential, the differential that was used on our 1998-2002 Camaro SS and Firehawk vehicles. You'll find this exact same differential selling for as much as $499. It fits 1989-2002 Camaro and Firebirds with 28-spline axles. The Auburn's cone clutch applies the maximum amount of torque needed to the rear wheels in a straight launch, but lets the axle slip so both axles act independently during cornering. The design instantly senses changes in road conditions and is a dramatic improvement over the OEM differentials.

Note: Because these differentials were originally destined for both Camaro SS and Firehawks some may come equipped with axle bearings already pressed onto the unit, please remove them and install our part number #64047 Installation Kit for proper installation. SLP strongly recommends professional installation of any rear axle product.
